Words for the Week

Some do not believe in cyclic existence but winter, spring, summer and fall is all cyclic existence.

Some do not believe in karmic cause and effect but yesterday, today and tomorrow is all karmic cause and effect.

Some do not believe in everything is mind, but when the heart-mind moves and happiness or suffering turns up, it is all mind.

Thursday Open Sangha - Dr. Lye Returns!

Join us this Thursday, July 31st at 7:30 PM to welcome our spiritual director, Dr. Lye, back to the United States after his recent travels in Peru. Dr. Lye was appointed as head-lama for the Cusco Drikung Kagyu Center almost two years ago by HH Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang, and since then the new Cusco center has grown beyond imagination! You can check out some videos from the center's recent events here.

We hope to see you at the temple this Thursday as we celebrate Dr. Lye's return and gather for some meditation, snacks, and mingling.

Thousand Offerings of Namgyalma

There's still time to register for this weekend’s Namgyalma Thousand Offerings puja. As Dorlöp Rinpoché has explained, this is a very special puja that we will dedicate to the longevity, health & bodhisattva-activities of HH Dalai Lama, HH the Drikung Kyabgöns & All Dharma Guides, as well as to the pacification of all wars, conflicts, & sufferings everywhere.
