Words for the WeekBuddha Day on May 10thMark your calendars for May 10th at 2:00 PM and join us at the temple for a joint celebration of Vesak, or Buddha Day, with Great Tree Zen Women's Temple and the Zen Center of Asheville! This is a chance to experience traditional Buddhist chants, guided meditation, & the ritual-bathing of baby Buddha. All are welcome! It is not required that you call yourself a Buddhist or that you have experience with Buddhist practices. This will simply be a time to celebrate in community a life and the teachings that have brought so much peace, joy, compassion, and clarity into the world. Please plan to arrive early to settle in and find your seat.
