Happy Birthday Dr. Lye!This past weekend, our Spiritual Director Dr. Hun Lye celebrated his 55th birthday On Saturday, members of the Tibetan Buddhist sangha that Dr. Lye leads, the Drikung Dharmakirti International Sangha, got together and dedicated a morning’s practice to his good health and flourish of Dharma activities with members at the temple and joining on Zoom. Dr. Lye will soon return from traveling in Asia; please join us at our upcoming Buddha Day celebration on May 10th to welcome him back! We hope to see you there! Thursday Open SanghaLast week, Mei anchored our Open Sangha meditation and discussion on the heart-quality of metta (loving kindness) and heart-ability of rejoicing, especially in the goodness of others. Two regular attendees, who are students of colleges in the area, were recognized and congratulated for their upcoming graduation! Thank you Mei for this kind gesture.
